Ministry of Industry and Information Technology convenes a press conference on January 29, at which the reporter is informed that the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has recently issued the Action Plan for the Development of Basic Electronic Components Industry (2021-2023) (hereinafter referred to as the "Action Plan"), which will promote breakthroughs in the basic electronic components industry for key markets such as smart terminals, 5G, industrial Internet, data centers and new energy vehicles. By 2023, the total sales of electronic components in China will reach RMB 2.1 trillion, and efforts will be made to have 15 enterprises exceed RMB 10 billion in revenue.

      In 2023, the sales will hit RMB 2.1 trillion and 15 companies will have revenues of over RMB 10 billion.

      The Action Plan draws a road map for the development of the electronic components industry in the next three years.

    In terms of the overall goal, by 2023, the competitiveness of advantageous products will be further enhanced, the security supply level of the industry chain will be significantly improved, and for important industries such as intelligent terminals, 5G and industrial Internet, basic electronic components will be promoted for breakthroughs, key materials and equipment and instruments will be enhanced, and the supply chain modernization level of the industry chain will be further improved.

In terms of industry scale, the total sales of electronic components will reach RMB 2,100 billion, further consolidating China's position as a leading global producer of electronic components...
